first_imgESPN’s football power index, which is said to be “the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season,” gives Oklahoma State a very favorable preseason ranking.The index ranks the Cowboys at No. 10, second in the Big 12 behind OU (No. 3).In 2015, the ESPN rating index gave Oklahoma State a preseason ranking of 30, behind Miami, Florida, Texas, Georgia Tech and others.
